Matthew Carter

With more than 20 years in the financial services industry, Matt has been helping clients at Intend since mid-2021. After starting his day with a walk and a coffee, he spends his time meeting with clients and crafting strategies to help them reach their goals.

He loves getting to know people and thrives on the problem-solving and strategic aspects of advice. As he puts it, “I think with some jobs you’re stuck in the relationship box, the strategic box or the number cruncher box. In my job, I get to do them all.”

In his downtime, Matt and his family enjoy all that Tasmania has to offer – from hiking Cradle Mountain to festivals and long lunches at local wineries.
